There is a strong concern about climate change caused by greenhouse gases, most notably carbon dioxide, and their interaction with humans and the natural environment.

Efforts of the International community have been focused on the mitigation of greenhouse gases which are causing climate change and on developing strategies to assist species, ecosystems, humans, regions and nations in adjusting to this climate change.

We hope that publications in the “Weather and climate” page will raise awareness in the International community in respect to issues related to the Weather and climate change.
